The Brave Arts Boosters (formerly the Fine Arts Steering Committee) is composed of interested staff, parents and community members.  Our goal is to support the Satchel Ford fine arts programs (dance, drama, visual arts, music, and creative writing) and their integration into the regular curriculum.  We provide this support through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

Our main fundraisers are:

Valentine's Teacher Luncheon (Feb.)

Faculty Follies (Spring)

Student Performance Cast Photos (once a month)

Grant-writing

Money raised from these fundraisers supports the fine arts programs at Satchel Ford.  With our fundraiser proceeds, we have sponsored artists-in-residence, purchased a new screen for the cafeteria and new cameras, and have even funded the salary of one of our fine arts teachers.
