It's that wonderful time of year again when our PTO hosts Freaky Friday!  This year, Freaky Friday will be October 30th.  Your classroom parent should be contacting you about working your class-assigned booth.  If she has not, please reach out, contact her and volunteer.  Not sure who your classroom parent is?  Go to our Classroom Info page to find out.  All of us working together is what makes Freaky Friday such a success.

VOTE FOR DEPUTY SATTERFIELD!!!

On Thursday, October 29th head to D.A.R.E.Scream 2009 from 5pm-9pm at the Baskin Robbins on Forest Drive.  Satchel Ford's School Resource Officer (SRO), Deputy Melissa Satterfield, will be there along with several other SROs.  The SRO with the most tickets turned in will receive a special reward.  The flyer with attached ticket may be downloaded here.  Special activities for the kids will be available and a portion of the proceeds from the evening's sales will benefit the SC DARE Learning Center (Drug Abuse Resistance Education).

This year's Artfest will be held on Friday, November 6th.  This a wonderful event that every student enjoys.  If you can volunteer in any capacity, please contact Pati Derrick.  Volunteers will mostly be needed during the morning hours.

Color Guard Anyone?

Do you have Girl Scout or a Boy Scout who would like to help post the colors for the PTO General Membership meetings?  The General Membership meetings are the third Tuesday of each month and we are always looking for two scouts each month to help us with this important duty.  Please call or e-mail Carla Graf if you are interested (787-2656).
