Parking/Carpool |
|
Mrs. Derrick along with the
Forest Acres Police and our
Satchel Ford neighbors would
like to remind us of the
following:
|
* |
Do not drop your
child off on the
side of the road
(even if you're
in the carpool
lane).
Either walk
him/her to the
building or go
all the way
through the
carpool lane. |
|
* |
If you park and
walk, please
make sure you
are parked
LEGALLY - with
the flow of
traffic. |
|
* |
Do not block,
park in or turn
around in our
neighbors'
driveways. |
|
* |
Do not park on
our neighbors'
grass. |
|
* |
Do not perform
3-point turns or
U-turns in the
middle of the
road. |
The Forest Acres Police
Officers are ready to
issue citations for the
above and many other
violations. Mrs.
Derrick has asked them
to hold off so we may
encourage our parents to
be more mindful of the
correct procedures, of
our neighbors and of our
students' safety.

2008-2009 Yearbooks Still
Available |
|
For returning students who
forgot to buy one or for new
students who need help
putting faces with names; we
still have a few yearbooks
available from last year.
They are $20 and can be
purchased from Ms. Gina
Morris or Mrs. Pati Derrick.

New Parents - Don't
Forget |
|
Each
volunteer who will spend time with the kids
(classroom activities, chaperoning field trips, etc.) must complete two forms required by the district. If you
haven't completed the forms, please download them
from our
Volunteers page and submit BOTH of them to the Satchel Ford
front office. You do not need to submit
the $15 fee for the DSS Application. The
district will pay this fee for you. |
