A.C. Flora's Super Saturday

Satchel Ford students participating in “Reading with the Falcons” are invited to attend A.C. Flora’s Super Saturday FREE by wearing their Satchel Ford T-shirts. Super Saturday will be held at Memorial stadium on Saturday, March 21st and will feature the girls/boys JV and Varsity soccer teams, girls and boys varsity track, JV/Varsity softball, C-team, JV and Varsity baseball and boys lacrosse teams. This is an all day family friendly event to raise funds to help support the athletic programs at A.C. Flora.

We all think we have control over what our children have access to on the web.  Are you sure you're protected?  If you don't know the pitfalls, how are you going to guard against them?  The Satchel Ford PTO and SIC along with The Blencowe Group, Inc. will host this Internet Safety Awareness Program.  Some of the topics discussed will be:

This program, led by Don Cantrell of the SC Department of Education, is for anyone with a child or grandchild (especially middle schoolers) who may have access to the internet (supervised or not).  Please do your best to make this an adults-only event so those little ears are not exposed to topics they should not hear.  Some of the topics could get a little scary.  A short Q & A session will be available at the end of the program.  For more info, please visit Don Cantrell's Online Safety For Youth website.  Be sure to share this information with everyone you know - It's THAT important. 

Yearbooks On Sale

Yearbooks will be on sale Friday, March 20th through Friday, March 27th.  Please look for the form coming home on Friday.

Field Day Volunteers

Field Day is Friday, April 3rd.  We need volunteers to make it run smoothly and to ensure the kids have fun.  If you're interested, please contact the PE Teacher, Stephanie Morris.  Please remember that all volunteers must have completed the district's background check.
