Braves Buddies is a
program designed to help children in grades K-2 who need assistance
with reading. This effort will involve parent volunteers, the
principal and the teachers of Satchel Ford Elementary.
Children in need of extra help will be identified by the teachers
and principal and will be assigned to a buddy for one-on-one help.
We are asking our buddies to devote 45 minutes to 1 hour per week to
his/her assigned child. There will be a designated area at the
school where the buddies will work with the children. |
