night at Baskin Robbins!

School Parking Lot |
The parking lot at Satchel
Ford Elementary will be
under renovation this
summer. The parking lot
will be dug up to replace a
failed underground water
retention system. The work
is scheduled to begin on May
31st and should be completed
prior to the opening of
school in August. The
contractor will be working
Monday through Friday with
the expectation that the
work will be completed
before school starts. |

Satchel Ford has been
awarded an "Excellent"
Absolute Rating and an
"Excellent" Growth
Rating. Since the
printing of this report
card, schools receiving
the Palmetto Gold and
Silver Awards have been
announced. Based on
General Performance,
Satchel Ford received
the Palmetto Gold
Award. Based on Closing
the Achievement Gap,
Satchel Ford received
the Palmetto Silver
Award. Congratulations,
Satchel Ford!

Kindergarten Registration |
If you or anyone you know
will have a kindergartner
next year, please have them
register now. In order
to register, parents will
need to bring the child's
birth certificate, shot
record and two proofs of
residency such as current
utility bills and/or lease
agreement. Please call
the school office for more
information. |
